Several explosions at Iranian strategic objects throughout night VIDEOS
Several powerful explosions occurred at various petrol and military sites throughout Iran on January 28.
A drone attack was orchestrated targeting a military plant in Iran’s central city of Isfahan late on January 28.
According to the Iranian state agency IRNA, the ministry of defence reported that one of three drones attacking the defense equipment manufacturing complex in Isfahan was downed by a defense system stationed inside the facility, believed to be an ammunition factory according to the Guardian, and two others exploded after being caught in traps set by the defense system.
No casualties have been reported in Isfahan and so far only damage to the roof of the defense equipment facility has been detected.
Another incident occurred at an oil refinery on the same day, near the city of Tabriz in Iran's East Azerbaijan Province.
A massive fire broke out, with the cause of the accident still being investigated. “The firefighting is still going on and the size and intensity of the fire made it difficult to extinguish”, Fars agency reported, as cited by CNN. According to the publication, 25 firefighters are deployed to the site, attempting to extinguish the raging flames.
Azerbaijani military expert, Agil Rustamzade, has shared a video, depicting a residential area of Tehran at night, with the residents shouting "Death to the dictator, death to Khamenei!" from their windows.
