Shooting in central Moscow leaves young man hospitalised

A shooting in central Moscow in the early hours of April 4 has left a young man hospitalised, according to local media reports.

The incident took place on Solyanka Street, where an altercation initially broke out between two men, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

Witnesses said the dispute escalated rapidly, with gunshots heard shortly afterwards.

One eyewitness said she ran outside after hearing the shots and found the victim lying on the pavement in a pool of blood.

Emergency services transported the injured man to the hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.

Law enforcement authorities have detained a suspect, and an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing.
