Six dead, 21 injured in Israeli strike on oil depot in northern Iran

An Israeli airstrike on an oil storage facility in the city of Fardis, northern Iran, has killed six people and injured 21, Iranian media report, citing the Alborz provincial administration.

According to the reports, the strikes were carried out by the United States and Israel using fighter jets. Among the casualties are civilians living nearby.

Authorities noted that the energy supply system was not affected by the attack.
