Six injured as drone attack hits Moscow region VIDEO
Six people were injured following a Ukrainian drone attack in the Moscow region, Governor Andrei Vorobyov said on his Telegram channel.
“Overnight and in the morning, 86 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Moscow region by air defence forces. According to preliminary data, six people were injured,” he said.
He added that in Elektrostal, in the Sluchayny settlement, four men were injured, two of whom were hospitalised. In the same city, debris from a drone struck a residential building on Lenin Avenue, damaging windows from the 4th to the 16th floors, as well as a building under construction from the 12th to the 16th floors.
In Kotelniki, in the Parkovy district, a 57-year-old man was injured. In Voskresensk, in the village of Tsibino, a 13-year-old girl suffered a stab wound to her left thigh. In the Ramenskoye district, in the village of Grigoro, the roof of a two-storey brick house caught fire.
In Solnechnogorsk, in the village of Durykino, debris damaged the windows and siding of a private house. In Chernogolovka, the façade of an administrative building was damaged, with no casualties reported there.
“All victims are receiving medical assistance, and emergency services are working at the sites where debris has fallen,” Vorobyov said.
Earlier, ASTRA reported that in Elektrostal a drone struck a building under construction in the Severny Kvartal residential complex, and a fire also broke out in a residential building within the same complex, possibly as a result of a UAV strike.
