06 April 2026 15:02

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund received more than €3 million in grants from two countries in March, according to Ukraine’s Energy Ministry.

The ministry said Iceland and Slovenia contributed a combined €3.2 million to the fund, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.

Additional agreements on further grant allocations were also signed during the month, with new donor commitments recorded.

More funding is expected from several countries.

Canada is set to provide €12.5 million, the European Commission €10 million, Denmark €5.4 million, Germany €4.8 million, and Croatia €1.5 million.

The contributions are aimed at supporting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure amid ongoing challenges.
