Son of Armenian Dashnaktsutyun member hospitalized after alleged suicide attempt

The son of Grant Margaryan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun, was hospitalised on Papazyan Street after sustaining a gunshot wound.

According to local sources, the incident has been classified as an attempted suicide. The man is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media. 

Journalist Gagik Shamshyan reported that the firearm used in the incident was allegedly provided by a leader of the Karabakh separatist movement.

Authorities have not released further details as the investigation continues.
