Sports facilities and police sites attacked in Tehran
Several sports and municipal facilities were targeted in attacks in Tehran, according to reports from Iran International.
The reported strikes hit a number of sites across the Iranian capital, including police facilities and public buildings. Among the damaged locations were a drug enforcement police department, another police station located in southeastern Tehran, and the municipal administration building for District 18 of the city.
Sports venues were also among the sites affected. The facilities reportedly targeted included Besat Stadium and Azadi Stadium, along with the Shahidan Ismaili Sports Complex and the Eskanderlu Sports Complex.
In addition, the Azadegan Water Park was reportedly struck. According to the report, Iranian security forces had been using the water park as a defensive facility.
No further details about the extent of damage or casualties were immediately reported.
