Strike hits one of Iran’s tallest bridges near Karaj photo

One of Iran’s tallest bridges has been struck during reported military action near the city of Karaj, with authorities saying multiple areas were targeted and several people were injured.

According to a statement cited by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, US and Israeli forces carried out strikes in several areas around Azimeh in Karaj. One of the strikes hit the B1 bridge, described as one of the highest bridges in the country.

Officials reported that several individuals were wounded in the attack, though no further details on their condition were immediately provided.

Emergency response teams were deployed to the scene and are continuing operations.
