Sudden earthquakes jolt two provinces in Türkiye

Two earthquakes were recorded in different provinces of Türkiye on April 26, according to the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
At 08:01 local time, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck the Yedisu district in Bingöl province. The quake’s epicenter was at a depth of 7 kilometers.
About 40 minutes later, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was recorded in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province. Its focal depth was measured at 14.93 kilometers.
