A 21-year-old man (born 2002) accused of killing 27-year-old Azerbaijani Sahib Bayramov at a market in Georgia’s Marneuli district was detained while trying to cross into Türkiye at the Kartsakhi border.
Authorities said the suspect shot a father and son in a jewelry store and fled. One victim later died from his injuries, while the other was hospitalized, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the suspect’s identity was quickly established and thanked Turkish authorities for their cooperation.
