Tajik, Armenian presidents discuss expanding investment ties

The presidents of Tajikistan and Armenia discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation during a meeting in Astana, according to Tajik media cited by Caliber.Az.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and emphasised that relations between the two countries are built on long-standing traditions of friendship, as well as mutual respect and trust.
“The sides also discussed political, trade-economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation,” the press service of the Tajik leader said.
The talks covered a broad range of areas, with particular attention to expanding investment ties alongside political and economic engagement.
