Tajik parliament ratifies agreement on jurisdiction of CSTO forces

The Majlisi Namoyandagon (lower house of the parliament) of Tajikistan ratified the Agreement on Jurisdiction and Legal Assistance in Matters Related to Temporary Stay of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation Forces on the Territories of the Member States.

Gazeta.ru reports citing the press service of the Tajik parliament that the agreement consists of a preamble and 22 articles.

The parliamentarians also considered the agreement on joint material, technical and medical support for the CSTO troops, as well as the protocol on amendments to the agreement on CSTO peacekeeping activities of October 6, 2007.
