Tajikistan, Iran agree to expand cooperation across key sectors

Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon has met with Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi in Dushanbe, with both sides agreeing to expand cooperation across multiple sectors, according to the Tajik presidential press service.
The ministry said Aliabadi travelled to the Tajik capital specifically for talks with the president, Caliber.Az reports per Tajik media.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening ties in the economy, industry, energy, agriculture, road construction and logistics.
Both parties agreed to broaden bilateral cooperation in these areas, as part of ongoing efforts to deepen relations between Tajikistan and Iran.
