04 February 2026 17:21
Tajikistan has regained an aircraft that had been impounded at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport for seven years.
The Tajik Air plane had been held at the Moscow airport since 2019 due to financial disputes, Caliber.Az reports, citing Tajik media.
“The aircraft has already been delivered to the national carrier’s hangar for maintenance,” reported the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In addition, Tajik Air has paid over 12 million rubles ($156,500) in accumulated fees for the plane’s parking at Vnukovo Airport since 2019.
The aircraft had been impounded in Russia due to the airline’s debts and financial obligations.
