TankerTrackers: Large oil storage tank lost on Iran’s Sirri Island

A major crude oil storage tank has been lost at Iran’s Sirri Island oil export facility, according to satellite imagery dated April 15, 2026, according to TankerTrackers.
The imagery shows that Sirri Island has become the first oil export station in Iran, where an oil storage tank for crude has been lost.
The tank, which had a diameter of 110 meters, had an estimated capacity of around one million barrels of oil.
As per 2026-04-15 satellite imagery, we can clearly see that Sirri Island, Iran is the very first oil export terminal in the country to lose a crude oil storage tank.
