Tashkent, Yerevan explore ways to expand cooperation

Uzbekistan and Armenia discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation during the latest round of political consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries, held in Yerevan.

The talks were co-chaired by Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, with the sides reviewing prospects for cooperation in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, Caliber.Az reports.

They also discussed progress in implementing agreements reached during high-level and top-level contacts.

Particular attention was paid to unlocking the existing potential for cooperation in industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, agriculture, digital technologies, tourism and education.
