Tasnim: Iran not yet willing to resume talks with the United States

The Iranian side has not yet agreed to hold a new round of negotiations with the United States, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reports, citing sources.

Tehran’s refusal is linked to the maritime blockade and Washington’s “excessive demands”.

According to the agency, through Pakistani intermediaries, the Islamic Republic conveyed to the United States that “the abandonment of excessive demands by the American side is a key condition for continuing negotiations; otherwise, Iran does not intend to waste time on exhausting and fruitless talks.”
