Tbilisi–Bucharest flights to resume with twice-weekly service

11 June 2026 17:40

Direct scheduled air service between the capitals of Georgia and Romania is set to resume, according to Business Georgia, citing the United Airports of Georgia.

Flights on the Tbilisi–Bucharest–Tbilisi route will be operated by Romanian carrier DAN AIR.

According to the application submitted by the airline to the Civil Aviation Agency, services will run from July 1 to October 24, with a frequency of twice weekly — on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The Civil Aviation Agency, which operates under Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, granted the airline the necessary permit to operate the flights on June 9, the report said.
