Tbilisi mayor accuses Zelenskyy of prioritising foreign interests over Ukraine
Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party Kakha Kaladze has said that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy is serving the interests of other countries instead of those of Ukraine and its people.
"Today, Zelenskyy does not belong to himself, his family, and most importantly, he does not belong to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. He serves the interests of other countries," Kaladze, who is also mayor of Tbilisi, told journalists, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
On December 5, Zelenskyy signed a decree introducing sanctions against Georgian authorities. The sanctions target 19 individuals, including founder of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party Bidzina Ivanishvili, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, as well as a number of judges and the Georgian MPs.
