The detainees include Georgian citizens, some with prior convictions, as well as foreign nationals, according to the country's Interior Ministry, cited by Sputnik Georgia.
The suspects, aged between 19 and 38, are accused of illegal acquisition, possession, and distribution of narcotics on a particularly large scale.
During searches of residential and workplace premises, police seized a variety of drugs prepared for distribution, including marijuana, alpha-PVP, clephedrone, and methadone.
