Teaching hospital in Iran's Bushehr hit by missile and bomb attacks
A teaching hospital in southern Iran has sustained serious damage following missile and aerial strikes attributed to the United States and Israel, according to Iranian media.
The Martyrs of the Persian Gulf Teaching Medical Centre in the city of Bushehr was heavily damaged in the attacks, Tasnim News Agency reported, citing the rector of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences.
According to the university rector, the explosions caused extensive damage to the hospital’s buildings and medical equipment. As a result, the facility has been temporarily taken out of service and is currently unable to continue operating.
Patients who had been receiving treatment at the centre were transferred to another medical facility, the Martyrs of the Nuclear Industry Hospital, where doctors and medical staff continue providing care without interruption.
