Tehran airport set to resume international flights
24 April 2026 13:14
Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport is set to resume international operations on April 25.
In a statement the airport confirmed that the first scheduled flights will be to Istanbul and Muscat, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Air traffic had been suspended amid the conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran, which began on February 28.
Iranian authorities had earlier taken steps to partially reopen the country’s airspace for operations from major airports. On April 18, the first passenger flight following the partial reopening arrived in Iran from Oman.
