Tehran airs footage of key US military installation in Jordan VIDEO

Iranian television networks have broadcast video footage purportedly depicting the ramp facilities and runway infrastructure of Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

The development was reported by the Turkish daily Yeni Şafak, which noted the strategic significance of the installation amid heightened regional tensions.

The base has emerged as a pivotal hub in the expansion of the United States military footprint in the Middle East. It currently hosts a substantial contingent of US military aircraft, including 24 F-15 fighter jets, 12 F-35A stealth fighters, and 12 A-10C ground-attack aircraft operated by the US Air Force, in addition to six E/A-18G electronic warfare aircraft deployed by the US Navy.
