Tehran has no plans to restart US talks for now, Iranian spokesman says

Iran is not currently planning to resume negotiations with the United States and remains focused on its defence priorities, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

He stressed that the memorandum of understanding signed between Iran and the United States “constitutes a set of mutual commitments,” Caliber.Az reports.

According to the diplomat, if one side fails to uphold its obligations under the agreement, Tehran will likewise “refrain from fulfilling its commitments” and intends to adhere to that principle going forward.
