Tehran refutes responsibility for attacks on Saudi oil facilities

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh has categorically denied any involvement in recent attacks on Saudi Arabian oil fields, Khabar Fouri reports. 

He emphasized that Tehran had informed Riyadh of its position prior to the incidents.

“We are not responsible for the bombing of Saudi oil fields and have informed our brothers in this royal country of our stance,” Khatibzadeh said, highlighting Iran’s official denial and effort to communicate directly with Saudi authorities.
