Tehran repairs 4,000 homes after damage, officials say

Tehran authorities are repairing more than 4,000 residential buildings damaged in recent incidents, according to a spokesperson for the mayor’s office.

Abdolmottahar Mohammadhani said the scale of damage ranges from “minor damage, such as broken glass, doors and windows” to cases requiring “full reconstruction or major repairs,” Al Jazeera reported.

He noted that 1,869 families have been affected by housing difficulties, with approximately 1,245 families relocated to 23 residential complexes.

Municipal authorities are currently carrying out or financing repair work across the affected properties, as efforts continue to address the damage.
