TEKNOFEST-2026 kicks off in Türkiye PHOTO
A four-day aviation, space and technology festival, TEKNOFEST-2026, dedicated to naval technologies and the defence industry, has begun in Türkiye.
The event is being held at the naval base in Gölcük and will run through August 23, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
The festival features 37 naval platforms, including Türkiye’s largest warship, TCG Anadolu, submarines, unmanned marine vehicles and the national test block for the country’s next-generation MİLDEN submarine.
Visitors can also see Bayraktar TB2 and TB3 unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, missile systems and elements of the “Steel Dome” multilayer air defence system.
As part of TEKNOFEST-2026, the program includes demonstration flights, performances by SAT and SAS special forces units, as well as competitions involving unmanned underwater and surface systems.
