Teknofest to be held in Ankara, Izmir

The world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival Teknofest will be held in Ankara and Izmir after Istanbul.

The second venue for the festival, which was originally planned to be held in the three largest cities of Türkiye for the 100th anniversary of the republic, will be Ankara, Anadolu reports.

The festival will be held in the Turkish capital from August 30 to September 3, and in Izmir - from September 27 to October 1.

Various events will be organised during the festival in Ankara and Izmir, including air shows, technology competitions, award ceremonies, stage performances, master classes, science shows, educational seminars, flights and other activities.

The festival in Ankara will be held on the territory of the Etimesgut airport, in Izmir - Chigli.

Teknofest-2023 in Istanbul was attended by 130 participants and 19 sponsoring companies, 117 institutions, including ministries, public and private sector institutions, and media structures.

This year, more than 333,000 teams and over 1 million participants applied to participate in the TEKNOFEST 2023 technology competition.
