Telegram experiencing disruptions in Kazakhstan
Telegram is experiencing disruptions in Kazakhstan, with users reporting problems connecting to the messaging service and loading messages.
There is currently no official information on the cause of the disruption or whether Telegram's operation in Kazakhstan has been restricted, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
According to Downdetector, disruptions have been reported in Astana, as well as in the Karaganda, Pavlodar, Kostanay and East Kazakhstan regions.
Later, complaints were also reported in Almaty.
The main issues reported by users include being unable to send or receive messages, media failing to load, and, in some cases, the app not opening at all.
No significant disruptions to the messenger have been observed globally.
The editorial team contacted the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development for comment. The ministry said it was investigating the cause of the disruption. Kazakhtelecom JSC preliminarily said that no disruptions had been detected within its area of responsibility.
