Tokayev calls first session of Kazakhstan’s Kurultai

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree convening the first session of the Kurultai of Kazakhstan on August 28 in the capital Astana.

The session of the first convocation of the Kurultai will begin at 11 a.m., according to the decree published on the president’s official website, Tass reports.

The decree was issued in accordance with Article 58 of Kazakhstan’s Constitution and takes effect from the day it was signed.
