Top diplomat: Iran demonstrated unmatched resilience in war
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran had emerged victorious from its recent war with the United States, claiming that the country had demonstrated its resilience both on the battlefield and in diplomacy.
Araghchi said representatives of several foreign countries had expressed surprise at Iran’s ability to withstand the conflict and had told him that Tehran had achieved victories in both the military confrontation and subsequent diplomatic efforts.
He also said Iran had prevailed in terms of “morality, honour and dignity”.
“In the recent war, our armed forces demonstrated heroism and defeated the largest army in the world,” Araghchi said, adding that the conflict had demonstrated Iran was a “strong and invincible power”.
His remarks were reported by Iran’s Mehr News Agency.
