Tractor detonates mine in Armenia's Tavush Region Driver lightly injured

A tractor detonated a mine in the border village of Kirants, Tavush region, resulting in minor injuries to the driver.

According to a local resident, the incident occurred during engineering works near the border, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The explosion rendered the tractor completely inoperable. However, the tractor driver sustained only light injuries and was transported to Ijevan City Hospital. Medical professionals have assessed his condition as satisfactory.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident and have reminded residents to exercise caution in border areas known for potential landmine hazards.
