Trump calls for revocation of licences for TV networks biased against him

US President Donald Trump said he would like the licences of American TV networks “negatively biased” against him to be revoked.

Trump made the statement on the Truth Social media platform, saying:

“If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn’t their very valuable Broadcast Licenses be terminated? I say, YES!”

The American Leader also criticised the hosts of evening shows on CBS, ABC, and NBC, claiming they share a “lack of talent, high salaries, and extremely low ratings.”

“Who has the worst Late Night host, CBS, ABC, or NBC??? They all have three things in common: High Salaries, No Talent, REALLY LOW RATINGS!” the president wrote.

A day before, Trump claimed The New York Times (NYT) threatens national security with its “lies and purposeful misrepresentations.”
