Trump invites Kazakh president to Miami for G20 summit
US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, again inviting him to the next Board of Peace session and the G20 summit in Miami.
In his letter, Trump highlighted his anticipation of welcoming Tokayev again at both gatherings, Caliber.Az reports, citing Tokayev's press service.
Trump also expressed appreciation for Tokayev's participation in the Board of Peace inaugural session held in Washington in February, the press service added.
The United States will host the 2026 G20 Summit at the Trump National Doral Miami in Florida from December 14–15, 2026, as announced by President Trump. This summit marks the return of the G20 to the US for the first time in nearly 20 years, focusing on economic growth, energy independence, and new technology, coinciding with the nation's 250th anniversary.
