Trump's envoy says he consults Turkish officials on issues linked to Azerbaijan VIDEO

US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that he regularly seeks advice from Turkish officials regarding Azerbaijan.

He noted that through US Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack, he learns the opinions of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Intelligence Organisation Chief Ibrahim Kalin on issues related to Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Ukraine.

“For example, I call Tom and ask what İbrahim’s view on a particular issue is. I could give many such examples. Maintaining these contacts is recommended to me by the Trump administration,” Witkoff said.
