Turkic states leaders to meet in Bishkek to boost regional cooperation
Heads of government and vice-presidents from the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) are set to meet in Bishkek on September 18 , Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers announced.
The high-level meeting will bring together Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektanov, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev, Turkish Vice-President Cevdet Yilmaz, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, and CSTO Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Caliber.Az reports via the cabinet.
Officials are expected to discuss key areas of regional cooperation, including the economy, trade, investment, transport, digitalisation, energy, and agriculture.
The meeting will also review measures to enhance the mechanisms of the OTS to further strengthen collaboration among member states.
