Turkish Airlines launches Istanbul–Yerevan–Istanbul flights
Turkish Airlines has officially launched regular flights on the Istanbul–Yerevan–Istanbul route, marking a new chapter in air connectivity between Türkiye and Armenia.
The inaugural flight arrived at Zvartnots International Airport on March 11, 2026, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The arrival ceremony was attended by Mihran Khachatryan, head of the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee, executives from “International Airports – Armenia,” senior management from Turkish Airlines, and invited guests.
Flights on the route are currently scheduled to operate daily. Starting May 14, the frequency will increase to 10 flights per week, and from June 15, passengers can expect up to 14 weekly flights, reflecting a phased expansion in service to meet growing demand.
