A high-precision small-sized MAM-L aerial bomb of Turkish production, has successfully completed the first fire from an Aksungur unmanned aerial vehicle, precisely hitting a target enemy, Caliber.Az reports citing Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense.

According to a Twitter publication of the ministry, the Aksungur attack UAV was equipped with MAM-L ammunition for the first time as part of the Blue Homeland-2022 (Mavi Vatan-2022) exercise. The surface target of an imaginary enemy in the Eastern Mediterranean region was successfully hit.

Relevant footage was posted on the website of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.

AKSUNGUR has already been handed over to the Turkish Navy.

Since 2016, the MAM-L and MAM-C small-sized air bombs, manufactured by the Turkish ROKETSAN company, have been successfully used during the operations of the Turkish army.

The weight of the MAM-L mini-rocket is about 22 kilograms, while the MAM-C is three times lighter (6.5 kilograms). Light fighter aircraft can be equipped with these missiles.
Small-sized MAM-C bombs are capable of hitting a target at a distance of up to eight kilometers, while the MAM-L destroys objects at a distance of 14 km.
