The integrated T-155 TTA Panter howitzer entered service with the Turkish Armed Forces on November 5, 2025.
The T-155 TTA Panter is a 155 mm artillery system removed from the towed Panter howitzer and modernised by MKE, Caliber.Az reports, citing Türkiye’s defence industry news platform SavunmaSanayiST.

It is mounted on an 8x8 tactical wheeled vehicle developed by BMC, along with a fire-control system produced by ASELSAN. Thanks to its mobility and fire-control suite, the system provides rapid deployment and the ability to deliver long-range, accurate fire.

During a three-year qualification process, the prototype covered more than 20,000 kilometres across various terrains and fired around 350 rounds under different conditions. Environmental and operational tests were also conducted, enabling the qualification phase to be completed.
In addition, the programme is managed by the General Directorate of Military Factories (AFGM) with ASFAT as prime contractor and ASELSAN, BMC and MKE as key subcontractors; the contract was signed in 2020.
Prototype integration concluded in November 2022, and initial live-fire trials took place in December 2022 — after qualification and acceptance, the programme proceeded to serial production.
