Turkish army liquidates PKK terrorists in Iraq

The Turkish army neutralized three militants of the PKK terrorist organization in northern Iraq.

The Ministry of National Defense of Türkiye confirmed the operation on Twitter on September 21, Caliber.Az reports.

"We did not and will not leave the blood of our martyrs on the ground. Continuing our operations against terrorist dens in northern Iraq, heroic Mehmetchik [Turkish ground forces] neutralized 3 PKK terrorists in the "Pençe" [Claw] and "Pençe-Kilit" [Claw-Kilit] operation zones," the ministry wrote.

Earlier one Turkish soldier was killed and another wounded in northern Iraq.
