Turkish army to receive SIPER BLOCK-1 air defence systems soon PHOTO

Turkish Defence Industry Chief Ismail Demir has said that the Armed Forces preparing to receive SIPER BLOCK-1 air defence systems.

"Let's hand over SIPER BLOCK-1 to Türkiye and get feedback, SIPER BLOCK-2 is on its way," according to Caliber.Az, Demir wrote on his Twitter page.

"Moving forward to an echeloned air defence system," Demir wrote.

To recap, the SIPER BLOCK-1 SAM will soon start arriving in the Turkish Armed Forces, with a range of 110 km. SIPER BLOCK-2 is in the testing phase and will be supplied to the army the next year, with a range of up to 150 km.
