Turkish athlete, who wins in Yerevan: I'm proud to give medal to Azerbaijan

Gamze Altun, a Turkish athlete who won a silver medal at the European Championships in Yerevan, expressed joy at earning a medal and delivering it to Azerbaijan.

"I'm proud that I won this medal and gave it to you," she said, APA reports.

"I am very happy to be in Azerbaijan. I express my gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva for the invitation," Altun added.
