Turkish police detained 230 individuals as part of a large-scale operation targeting organised cybercrime networks, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on June 30.

The suspects were apprehended during coordinated raids carried out by gendarmerie units across multiple provinces, Caliber.Az reports citing a statement on X.

Financial investigations revealed that the suspects were linked to suspicious transactions totalling 3.15 billion Turkish lira (over $79.3 million).

Minister Yerlikaya stated that 93 of the individuals have been formally arrested, while court-imposed judicial control measures have been applied to another 100.
