During the trials, the Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA accurately struck its targets using two sets of TEBER-82 guidance kits, which were launched from the drone.
The TEBER-82, developed by Turkish company Roketsan, features the Mk-82 bomb weighing 260 kilograms, with a maximum flight range of 28 kilometres. The range of the TEBER-82 weapon system varies depending on the launch platform's speed and altitude.
The TEBER-82, optionally equipped with a proximity sensor, automatically detonates when in close proximity to its target. Under optimal conditions, the weapon can ensure precise targeting with a margin of error as small as 3 metres.
