Turkish company unveils strike mini-submarine at IDEF-2023
The Turkish shipbuilding company Dearsan presented the “L SUB 33 Light Submarine” for asymmetric firing, mine search, special operations and anti-submarine warfare at the IDEF-2023 exhibition in Istanbul.
The DEARSAN 33M submarine has a range of 2570 km, can operate at a depth of up to 150 meters, is capable of carrying 2 torpedoes and 6 anti-ship mines, Caliber.Az reports, citing MaviVatan's Twitter page.

The light submarine also has a strike variant called the HDA-700 which is larger than the amphibious version and can be used in anti-submarine missions. The HDA-700 will be a first-strike platform that can sneak into restricted waters and coastal areas unnoticed.
The HDA-700 will be deployed in the forward area and will be able to operate independently on missions lasting more than 10 days without resupply. The combat version will be armed with 6 533 mm torpedo tubes, and will also be able to install mines and UAVs.
