Turkish defence chief meets Azerbaijani rescuers in Kahramanmaras

Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar and Chief of the General Staff Yashar Guler met Azerbaijani servicemen at the field hospital in Kahramanmaras.

The statement came from the Turkish National Defence Ministry, Report informs, citing Turkish media.

Akar thanked the military doctors and nurses who went to Turkey to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake:

"As we were one fist and one heart in the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended in victory, so we continue it now. We are together in sorrow and in joy. Long live the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood," the minister said.
