Turkish defence chief vows avenge for soldiers fallen in terrorist attack VIDEO
Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler has pledged retaliation measures to the death of soldiers in the treacherous terrorist attack in northern Iraq.
"We have avenged our dear children and we will continue to do so. Let no one doubt that," he said, per Caliber.Az.
Güler made the statement during a meeting with Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Navy Commander Admiral Ercümet Tatlıoğlu, Army Commander General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Deputy Ministers Şuay Alpay, Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu and Jalal Sami Tüfekci.
"We carried out air operations against 71 terrorist targets in northern Iraq and Syria. A total of 59 terrorists were neutralised," the minister said.
