Turkish defence company signs strategic agreement with Saudi Arabia
Turkish defence company ROKETSAN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) during the World Defence Show 2026.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation on investment opportunities in the defence and aviation sectors, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
ROKETSAN board member Professor Muammer Kalyon signed on behalf of the company, while GAMI representative Saleh Abdullah and MISA’s Dr. Abdullah Abdubaikhi signed for Saudi Arabia.
The memorandum aims to strengthen strategic partnerships by developing and implementing investment projects in defence and aviation, alongside a comprehensive plan to achieve targeted investment goals.
The collaboration will enhance local suppliers’ capabilities and integrate them into the global defence supply chain, while also boosting the country’s investment environment.
Implementation is expected to strengthen domestic production capacities in Saudi Arabia and support the development of a national defence supply chain with ROKETSAN’s participation.
