Turkish, Egyptian FMs begin preparations for meeting of their leaders
Turkish and Egyptian foreign ministers Mevlut Cavusoglu and Sameh Shukri discussed the prospects of a meeting between the leaders of the two countries and began preparations for such talks.
According to TASS, Cavusoglu said this on April 13 at a press conference with Shukri, who arrived on an official visit to Ankara.
“The process of revival of relations between our countries has begun, work is underway in the diplomatic sphere, concrete steps are being taken. Further negotiations are envisaged at the level of leaders. We started discussing plans, preparations for such a meeting,” Cavusoglu said.

Regarding the prospects for the appointment of ambassadors, Cavusoglu said that this topic was discussed and "steps are being taken towards raising the level of diplomatic missions to ambassadors."
