Turkish engine manufacturing subsidiary secret project - jet UAV

ASUS, a Turkish aerospace company, has announced the development of turbo engines for a jet unmanned aerial vehicle based on the ANKA UAV platform.

The company said that the project was being implemented secretly, and "in a very short time they will make it take off", Haberturk reports.

The jet UAV will have a top speed of Mach 0.7, or about 800 km/h, and will be capable of lifting 6.5 to 7 tons into the air.
